Sunday the conditions are against us and Saturday morning is fine but there is a change due at 2.00 Saturday. Its not worth the risk of an early change so we will try again after Easter.
For those wanting a dive ,Saturday morning looks OK at this stage. Check weather and make your own decisions .

I reckon you would get one in down the west coast. You could try somewhere like Kennett that has a point you can swim in behind if it roughs up or you don't have the experience to get out on the point.

If it's nasty round that corner the kick ass rip there could put some of the less experienced boys in a bit of strife at Kennett Greg.

yeah, I've been caught in that. You can swim across it but you end up out pretty wide. Give the juniors some exercise. the worst thing that can happen is they will miss sign off and have a long swim and walk to get home.

Kennet was an option BUT if that swell doesnt go into the north which it may not , then its a big drive and waste of time. its not that flat tonight either so i think it was a good call.

Good call to wait another week. I rode from Geelong to Apollo Bay Friday and there is to much swell down our side. Vis was shit all the way. From Lorne to Apollo Bay had quite an easterly blow too which we did not have up the Torquay end. Hope to make it at Easter!
