Look carefully at these names. These are the men and boys with the fortitude to dive the dirty and miserable days that sometimes come upon us. "When the going gets tough, the tough get going"

Why the hell would you want to " dive the dirty and miserable days " . When on the same day I enjoyed Bacon and eggs with a few mates followed by 15+m vis with flat seas and the sun shining on my back only 1/2 hour away from the comp. I have the competitive spirit and enjoy a comp as much as the rest but want to really enjoy my day in or on the water. There are not enough of them.

The viz was shit. The waves at times, very big. The fish, elusive. The walk back, horrid. The bloody thieving sharks were fun though. In general ..... forgettable. Kudos to Rob though.

Serious comp divers are pretty much a thing of the past! I dive comps because I enjoy them, if conditions are crap then I'm not going to enjoy the dive so I don't dive.
