This comps format is that boats will leave Newhaven as a group and anchor up off Cape Woolami where the comp will start. Comp starts from the boats and Finish at the boats with the weigh in back at Newhaven
Non boat owners should start looking for a spot on a boat NOW! .Make it known on this forum if you require a ride.
Dont forget to reimburse boat owner a fair and reasonable amount. . He will be towing, have fuel costs, boat costs , car park costs etc.

This comp is calendared to run at the same time as the Nationals so we may have a shortage of suitable boats. Please indicate the availability or not of your boat for this comp so we can make other arrangements if need be.

Aussie Titles are on that week. Can the comp be rescheduled to weekend before?

I can take the tinny if staying in sheltered waters. I beleive Mick has flown the coop back to nsw so one spot.

As I have it in my diary cup weekend is Sunday the 1st, Comp is currently planned for sunday the 15th making the weekend before the 15th Sunday the 8th.

You are correct. If we can get good numbers then I can see no reason not to change the date. How about some discussion first ?

It really depends on whether we can come up with enough boats for the current date. If there are enough boats then there is no need for a change.
So who with a boat is available for the 15th Nov for the Woolami Anchored boat comp ?

I will be at the Nationals so can't bring boat on scheduled Sunday. I can bring the boat Sunday before(8th). I have up to 5 spots available + Marcus and I on my boat.
Keep in mind that last year's conditions at Woolami where to gnarly for my crew so we moved to the sheltered waters of Pyramid for a social dive. Any one coming on my boat needs to be aware that I will do the same if I feel it's unsafe for any of the divers on board.

Melbourne Cup Day is the 3rd. The weekend before the scheduled Woolamai comp is the 7th and 8th. Is that not just a normal weekend.
