Hi Everyone,

This is now a thread that we will post information and updates regarding the last three competitions of the season (Harmers Haven, Woolamai Anchored Boat and Peninsula).

As you should already know, we will be aiming to run the three comps when the weather looks good, and will aim to provide a week - 4 days notice if the competition is on.

The weather does not look good this weekend (24th April) so we will not hold a comp as the seas are too rough and dirty. We will aim to try again in the coming weeks if there is a free spot in the calendar.

Thanks for your patience.

Mitch.

COMPETITION ANNOUNCEMENT - CAPE SCHANCK

Sorry all for the short notice, but the conditions look favourable on the SATURDAY so the committee has decided to call a competition ON, to be held at CAPE SCHANCK.

Meet at Cape Schanck Lighthouse Carpark at 7:30am for sign on, which will close at 8:15am so we can be ready to walk down to the water to start the competition at 9am.

NO FORMS WILL BE HANDED OUT ON THE DAY - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FORM FILLED OUT WITH CORRECT MONEY.

All competitors must abide by the SFD Competition Rules and Regulations and dive with a knife / mirror / whistle / float and flag.

There will be a BBQ at the end of the competition (3pm) for the competitors at the weigh in. We hope to see you all there.

Hi all,
Due to the poor forecast predicted for the weekend (14th / 15th May), the committee has decided to call the competition OFF due to high swell, high winds and dirty water. We will aim to run a competition next weekend, which will be the last available weekend to run a competition this season. Lets hope the weather is in our favour.
Thanks,
Mitch.

Attention Competition Divers:
This weekend we will endeavour to run our last competition for the season, Sunday is the day of preference looking at the weather pattern. possible locations include Koonya Back Beach or Pyramid Rock. Final decision will be made on Friday afternoon by our dive conveynor.

Anyone who personally calls him asking for details other then the committee members will incur a 50pt penalty and a can of JD :-)

This weekends competition will not be taking place due to the weather that's disrupted our coastline.
We will try one last time for a comp, being the weekend before the Eden 3way before we call it the end of the season. Thanks for being patient guys
