As we still have 3 comps to make up in 1 and a bit months and conditions look favourable for SATURDAY.
Competition ON.
CAPE SCHANCK.
Meet at Cape Schanck Lighthouse Carpark at 7:30am for sign on, which will close at 8:15am so we can be ready to walk down to the water to start the competition at 9am.
NO FORMS WILL BE HANDED OUT ON THE DAY - PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FORM FILLED OUT WITH CORRECT MONEY. ($15 Senior / $5 Junior)
All competitors must abide by the SFD Competition Rules and Regulations and dive with a knife / mirror / whistle / float and flag.
There will be a BBQ at the end of the competition (3pm) for the competitors at the weigh in (to be held in a location that will be confirmed later). We hope to see you all there.

13 Divers signed on for what turner out to be a really enjoyable comp. Flat seas with vis from 4m to 15m depending on where you were. Most chose to dive the point and the bay with a couple heading west to the ocean side. Plenty of comp species were to be found with a good variety coming in. Scores will go up as Watto gets it done but I believe the day was won by Muzz with 15 species followed by Rob T, Fitzy and several others with over 10 fish. We may have seen our last Conger ( Rob T) as from July they will no longer be on our comp list and therefore not a target species. Plenty of the usuals with only 1 Ling, a few crays, bandeds,Trevally, trump,Whiting, plenty of snook and more. Fitzy managed to find one just under 4Kg.
Thanks all for a great day.

See you at Tuesdays meeting for a discussion on fitting in our next comp and where.
