Hey Guys/Gals,

This weekend is the Western District comp held in Port Fairy. This has to be one of the most popular attended comps on our SFD calender which is hosted by the Shipwreck Coast Skin divers club. For those that havent attended this is a shore dive comp run over Sat and Sun and open to all AUF members. Sat will be the SFD points day which goes towards the aggregate.
Common prized species to the area are Sweep, KGW, Squid, Snook, Pinkies, Trevs, Trumpeter, etc

Note: Conger Eels for this comp are on the SCS scoresheet

Accommodation:most people camp. Internet says booked out for most camping locations but i rang Southcombe caravan park and they told me quite a few sites available.
Per camp site -5 adults per site per nite $75 unpowered or $80 powered.

Final call to to when, where and what time will be made usually on Thursday once our dive convenor has got the relayed info from SCS club and be put on the forum and facebook.

Safety check will be done prior to dive =Float, flag, mirror, whistle, knife, reflective tape, etc
