Hi All,

We have completed 3 aggregate competitions so far and have 5 more to go!
Bob dominated the first two comps showing the younger divers how its done. He also did well in the third comp to create an early lead over the pack.
Scott Kelly has continued his fine form from last year and Marcus is over 100 points ahead in the junior division.

Majority of the divers in the top half of the leader board have attended 2 or 3 comps showing you gotta be in it to win it!
See attached for the Southern Freedivers 2017-2018 Aggregate so far.

The aggregate is calculated based on your top 6 out of 8 scores, so even if you have missed a few comps, there is more than enough time to start attending the comps and moving up the leader board.

Hi All,

With the Western Districts that was held over the weekend, we have hit the halfway mark for the competition season.
As Bob was away at the Nationals, Scott Kelly has taken the lead and others have had a chance to catch up to Bob.
Alan Fitzy is way ahead of all the other A graders and James Beckman holds onto a healthy lead in the C grade.

See attached for the Southern Freedivers 2017-2018 Aggregate so far.

The aggregate is calculated based on your top 6 out of 8 scores, so even if you have missed a few comps, there is more than enough time to start attending the comps and moving up the leader board.
Look forward to seeing you all at the comps!

Hi All,

We held the Pyramid Rock shore based comp over the weekend and that has rounded out 5 of the 8 aggregate comps.

See below for the updated club aggregate.

Attachment:

Murray won the comp with a commanding lead, which affected the percentages of other divers in the comp and moved him up by 10 places on the leader board.
Bob Manning had a good comp which helped him regain the lead over Scott Kelly and the rest of us.

Watto joined the leader board in 20th place and with 3 aggregate comps to go has a chance to do move up through the ranks.

A few new comers and late starters have started to score in comps and the remaining 3 comps are a good opportunity for divers to hone their techniques that will prove beneficial in future comps or social diving.

The next competition scheduled is the State Titles, which has been a really fun comp in recent years and a chance to improve in the standings.

Hi All,

The state titles were run over the weekend and Kim put in a stellar effort to get the 100 points and shoot up 5 places to 5th overall and leading the C grade category.
Murray is still moving up the leader board and just over 70 points behind Fitzy in the A grade category.
Bob Manning is still leading the B grade category and is over 70 points ahead of Scott Kelly.
Andrew had a good score and is within reach of the 50+ category leader, Jozef.

See attached for the Southern Freedivers 2017-2018 Aggregate so far.

The aggregate is calculated based on your top 6 out of 8 scores, so the last few comps are a chance to catch up, or upgrade your lowest scores if you do all 8 comps.

Look forward to seeing you all at the remaining comps!

Hi All,

With the 7th Aggregate comp completed over the weekend with the Newhaven Boat comp, we have 1 comp to go to finalise the standings in each grade.
Over the weekend, Bob cemented the top spot with a good score!
Murray has moved to the top of A grade and ahead of Fitzy by about 30 points (should have come to the comp fitzy!! hehe)
Kim and James are still battling it out for the top spot in C grade and the next comp will be the decider.
With a cracking catch of 8 species over the weekend, Cameron is catching up to Marcus in the Juniors category. Keep up the good work mate!

See attached for the updated aggregate.

Look forward to seeing what happens at the final comp that is planned for 2 weeks time!
