While the weather is being kind to us we have decided to run the Newhaven boat comp that was postponed from earlier in the year. The Newhaven boat comp will run (weather permitting) on Sunday 25th March. This is not the anchored boat competition. Boats will be able to travel to where ever they wish. Watch this space for further information as the date gets closer

Conditions are still looking like we might get a competition in this weekend. As in the earlier post it will be the New Haven boat comp. At this very early stage the forecast is for maybe better conditions on Saturday so it could end up being a Saturday competition.Continue to watch this space.Final call with full information will be made on Thursday.

Hi All,

The Newhaven Boat Comp has been called ON for Saturday (24/03).
The meeting point is at the Newhaven Boat Ramp at 8am.
See below for a map and a dropped pin on google maps.

Dropped pin - Newhaven Boat Ramp

The competition will start at 9am with sign off finishing at 3.00 back at the ramp.
Late returners will be disqualified. For all competition rules, please refer to the competitions section of the forum.

Sign on for this comp will finish at 8.30am.
Please bring your entry forms filled out with the correct money ( $15 and $5 Junior). (Forms from me will be $5 each).

For boat owners, it is recommended that you arrive early to beat the rush at the boat ramp.

A safety check will be performed to ensure all divers have the required safety equipment.
There are plenty of safe shore dives available for those without a boat ride.

Comp is open to all AUF members however SFD membership is required to score points for the Southern Freedivers club aggregate.

Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday!

Hey Camaron, dirty water means low scores which means higher percentage per piece so go hard!
Off course if Muzza turns up previous statement is irrelevant
Marcus and I can't make it Saturday.
Have a good one guys.

For those like me that can't make Saturday but are keen for a Comp this weekend the Geelong Freedivers are running their Comp on Sunday at Kennett River.
