SFD held the 7th club aggregate comp today at Cape Schanck.
9 Divers signed on and were greeted with great ocean condition with very little swell. Visibility was between 0 and 12 meters. Half the field saw yellow tail kingfish up to 10kgs. But none were taken due to various reasons and gear failures. Some good bags were presented at the weigh in. 2 divers both presented 12 species with 2 A grade fish each . Stand out fish were a nice sergeant baker, 4 kg dusky morwong, large southern trumpeter ,800 gram sweep and a few good size trevally. The day was finished of by a few cold beverages and BBQ sausages and Joseph famous buggers.
All up a good day was had by all and even a few old familiar faces turned up for the weigh in. Hopefully the sight of some of the states most elite divers inspires them to pull on their gear for the last comp of the year. Stay tuned.
