Kennett River. Sat 8/3/08
An annoying but manageable swell made entries and exits interesting. If fishing near the shoreline, due care needed to maintained lest ye endeth up on the rocks. Viz variable from 1 metre to 12 metres. Water warm. A rip roaring current manifested itself in the afternoon. No matter which direction you swam, the current was always going in the opposite direction. The boys meant business today and this was reflected in some fantastic catches.

Sugarloaf. Sun 9/3/08
A little more swell. A little more surge. A little (lot) less viz. A little more difficult all round. A little more fun on exit. A little gear lost. A little suit torn. A little blood spilled. Great fun all round. Highlight of the day came during the weigh in with a visit from four lovely foreign tourists. Many of the boys gave themselves hernias while trying to hold in their bellies. Murray’s Cray came closest to sealing the deal.

Some great catches including Ashleigh's 840 gram Snapper. A round of applause was well deserved. Don't know who was happier, Ash or proud father with chest puffed out 1cm more than humanly possible for that chassis.

On another note, Leigh's call when Murray produced the cray: "OOH He's pulled out the trump card", was pure GOLD!! Priceless moment.
