Get pumped for the 2022 Victorian Spearfishing state titles!!!

Here’s the info pack to get started. There’ll be more updates along the way but this should give you a good understanding of what’s going on.
Based out of Apollo Bay, a shortlist of potential locations will be released the weekend prior to the event. If those sites 2 will be chosen for us to dive, this will happen the Thursday prior.
Accommodation: in sure a few people will be looking to stay down there, we’ll be organising some camp sites at the Apollo bay campground near the footy club so everyone’s together.
Shoutout to Torelli Spearfishing, DivePro and Mr Dive for supporting this event with some awesome prizes!!
Stay tuned as there’ll be more updates soon.

The Victorian State Titles has been call ON for Saturday and Sunday (12/13 march).
We will meet at the Apollo Bay surf life saving club (pictured) at 7:30 on Saturday morning where a decision will be made about the days location. We’re planning on diving Aireys Inlet on Saturday however the forecast is a bit ambiguous at this stage so someone will go down there and check it out before it’s called on. Blanket Bay will be the backup for Saturday.

If you’ve never done a dive comp before we strongly recommend that you have a read over the rules and regulations. In particular have a look at the required gear. A safety check will be done each morning, each diver is required to present a dive knife/mirror/whistle/float with attached reflective tape and a Code A dive flag.
Comp rules can be found here:

Also please have a read over the scoresheet and look at the minimum weights for each Species. Scoresheet can be found here:

You will also be required to bring a completed entry form and entry fee for each day ($20 senior/ $15 junior). Entry forms can be found here:
