Great conditions. Low swell. Good viz. Not too cold. A few of the boys were a little worse for wear after a heavy pub session the previous evening. Drew fell of the boardwalk and nearly rolled off the cliff. Those watching could only laugh hysterically at his near demise. ( what great mates!) Lots of little sharks and one real annoying BIG Seven Gill. Some of the participants also saw some small Kingfish. Ungettable unfortunately. Good way to finish the club season. Results as follow.

1 Murray . 13 species. 1492 points. 100%
2 Drew . 13 fish. 1463.4 pts. 98.08%
3 Chris. 11 fish. 1221.8 pts. 81.89%
4 Louie. 9 fish. 1012.7 pts. 67.87 %
5 Leigh. 8 fish. 936.4 pts. 62.76%
6 Ivor. 8 fish. 878.2 pts. 58.86%
7 Ryan. 8 fish. 854.7 pts. 57.28%
8 Greg. 7 fish. 795.5pts. 53.31%
9 Christian. 6 fish. 644.2 pts. 43.17%
10 Jake. 5 fish. 558.4 pts. 37.42%
11 Ashleigh. 4 fish. 452.1 pts. 30.30%
12 Mario. 2 fish. 262.8 pts. 17.61%

Fish count.
1 Flounder (easily fish of the day)
1 Rough Jacket
1 True Sweep ( Drew swam to Eden)
1 Bearded Rock Cod ( Doc breathed on it and it rolled over; pissed)
1 Snook
1 Silver Drummer ( Rhino followed Drew)

2 Black Drummer
3 Trevally

Good write up.. Drew falling off the boardwalk was funny as!!

I'll do a quick summary of the Friday night. It was a very entertaning night..

About 10 turned up for dinner, Muzza and Andrew left early leaving 8. Of that 8 only 6 made it back to the motel room. Plenty of beer was drunk.. Me and Drew left the pub at 1am managed an hour sleep before Rhino, Spook, Doc and Jake got home. There wasn't much sleep after that.. Doc showed what he learnt in medical school about power hurling all over the bathroom.

Best on ground; Jake
He scored enough on Friday night, he thought he'd take it easy on Saturday..

Definately a night to remember, what we can recall of it atleast! I don't think we will be invited back to San Remo anytime soon.

Aahahahah Bahahahahah    Gonna be having flashbacks of that one for a very long time!

You forgot to mention...............

The next morning.................................

Despite Doc hurling 3 times only halfway into the bathroom the room was spotless???

No wonder he cleans up on the fish if he can hit a dunny from 20yards!

Well done Muzza, the man to beat....oh and you too leigh ! :x

Was a top night and a good swim until about an hour or two into it, lucky to have a wide bore snorkel. As for the motel room it was spotless when we woke up, towels were freshly layed out on the bed, no sign of any spewing and a naked fairy was darting around as well.

Luke, save your money ill get you one from work, may be able to get you a few other things as well. :P :P

Funny write up, wish i'd seen drew fall.

Well done to Andrew coming all the way from Shep, that is a long haul!

Looking forward to next season.

V.S the vis was about 10 -15 metres

Yeah I put it over the magic 100 that night but seems I was the only one to see 'em, despite them being in the report?

What do you mean next season. I recon in about 4 weeks I will be ready to go again. Can I place an order now for conditions just like saturday.
I have a few changes to my gear to make. No more floating cray pot line( tangles tangles and more tangles) its time to make up a proper float line with a speed needle and keeper. My new float ( made up at 2.00 friday ) is ok I just had too much crap hanging from it. How long is long enough. (float lines)I know most are around 20 m but this seems a bit long from what I have seen so far.
Any way I had a ball. I wished I had spent a bit more time in the water but I had to be back in Shepparton for Tea at 6.00.
Thanks all for making me welcome.
