Lol, hes dreaming at 15K. As far as a setup goes, something like that probably is pretty good if you can get it at the right price. Have a chat to a few guys in the business, you will find that there are plenty of good hulls out there without the haines logo that would do just as well at a much better price. Trick is knowing what hull designs work and those that don't. You may be able to find some stuff in the boats forum of www.fishnet.com.au/forums/

i recently bought a haines 16R and its by far one of the best riding boats iv ever driven, shits all over a 6m eden craft. 17L is another fantastic boat. problem is for you that 6 grand will strugle to get one in top shape. so in my opinion i wouldn go past a haines being a diver.

First of all I would say buy a PWC (JETSKI)best ones are SEADOO you could pick up a 2 stroke one a few years old for that sort of money. Other wise an old swiftcraft brigand or sea otter both are excellant sea boats and soft riding. But a seadoo would be more fun and faster than most things on the water. Just ask Brett about his.

I did consider a Jet Ski when i realised how cheap you can get a descent one ... But the Boat will be more practical...
