The golf day on the new calendar which was scheduled for Saturday 15th August has been moved to Sunday 16th August! We have to work and someone has to run it.

I have booked us in at Centenary Park Golf Course Frankston for a 9am tee off! It'll cost $25.50 per person which includes 18 holes, 3 balls and a couple of snags in bread. They have a balcony which we can use plus more importantly a bar!!!
www.centenarypark.com.au

I have played this course heaps and it is probably the best choice when you consider price, snags and a very relaxed dress code! (don't have to have a collar or spikes!)

So far it's already looking like it'll be a pearler with about 14 guys giving the nod already, just remember that it has to be booked in advance tho so I need to know numbers by 7th August. I have booked for plenty extra but if we fill the numbers then that's it. Even if your just considering it let me know! Better to be safe than sorry!

Will be a great day, plenty of retards but also plenty of competition for those more experienced! (even heard a whisper of a club member being sponsored by Foxtel in another life!)

There's no byo which seems to be the trend at all the courses recently but given the price of grog over the counter nowadays if I happened to accidentaly leave a couple in my bag from the last game I reckon they'll be making an appearance (would probably wanna be the same as what they sell! Vb, Jimmy)

You can PM me, SMS me or call me to let me know!

Just got off the phone with Centenary and we are definately there for this Sunday 16th at 9am! It's on McLelland dve Karingal/Frankston, opposite the Frankston Tip!

I'll try to send everyone an sms that said they'll be there!

Had a really good day today despite the weather! Getting off the first tee was a bit of a problem with most of us going straight in the drink or short of the ladies tee but once we were off we got to see who had it and who.......didn't

One group consisted of myself, Murray, Paul, Leigh and Nia. The other was Grant, Tim, Drew, Jase and Trent.

Reckon I got a photo of Grant sliding of the edge off the lake!
Murray took the honors in our group showing us what we were supposed to be doing, the others couldn't handle a little rain and ran off somewhere near the 5th! And they call themselves divers!

Jase had a couple of close calls on the first not long after Timmy landed a cracker on the green!

I'll post some pics later!

Murray - 44
Me - 46
Leigh - 52
Paul - 54
Nia - 87

Don't think the other group kept score!

Great job Rhino, its good to see people like you organising events like this, looking at the scores i wish that i was able to get there because the standard looked about right.

Keep up the good work guys
