got seats? mine 17 seadevil very stable at rest. will have to hit a few snapper up when time comes. keep in touch - need a new fishin buddy, brown mullet just wants to dive these days :shock: :?

Removeable captains chair , eskys do fine usually.

sounds good mate , always up for a fish.
fished w/p yesterday, tried some new spots near bouy 14 , dead to the world so was bouy 25 1 x swell shark ,and then 1 squid at stoney point.

Golden beach , 90 mile.
thursday feb 25 - sun 28th.
target bronze whaler, hammerhead.
good reports of gummies school and seven gills, this beach has also produced great whites although not common.

take care fishing there at night i was fishing there one night and was a fair way up the beach well clear of the white wash when a freak wave came in next thing i knew i was almost waist deep in water, also lost about $300 worth of tackle which was about 10 meters behind me and my mate lost his rod.

Cheers XY71 , heard of that stuff happening before , not nice.thats 1/2 the reason my rodholders have teathers on them so that waves or big noahs dont pull it out.
one of mates almost had a rod stolen off point lonsdale pier one night while they were sleeping, lucky it was tied down and it woke him up.

Hey Dave, have you been getting any off the spot?... just wondering, a mate had a 300-ish kg bronzey approch him up the coast on Saturday. I also heard there were good numbers of mako caught in close far west coast. What has happened to the windless summer days/nights, has julia and the greens banned them?

Try Cape Schank, I hear that's fairly sharky on the west side of the point. Also anywhere on or around Philip Island could be worth a shot. Heard a bloke snagged a 3m Seven Gill shark at San Remo. And also heard about guys catching thrasher sharks on Rosebud pier, on Jetty Rd.

smaller ones, not chucking quiet as much burley in when spearing, only koz i know the results! only biggen i have seen while diving was in cape conran, just beside the boat ramps near the bombies, was by myself and had only been spearing a handful of times prior. shat myself, looked like a truck cruising through the water, def not a giller. quick aquaplane to shore
