I will be convening this week end, comp will be Aireys inlet 8am Sunday. Conditions will be safe, vis will be ordinary. Meet at the gully car park by the beach. To find, turn left in to Alice st just before you come into Aireys proper, turn left again at the end and your there. Don't forget a cup of concrete for breakfast.

My opinion only. Shallow swell prone. Dirty sand stirred. Current can never make up it's mind. Never had a truly enjoyable dive there personally. If it is going to be dirty anywhere in the universe it will be dirty at Aireys!!!!!!

If it's Aireys I couldn't be bothered going.

Haven't done a dive comp on the west coast, looking forward to it where ever it is

was planning on going bt slept thru the alarm, have to wait tll next time now to do a west coast dive

Aireys turned out to be OK, swell a bit bigger than expect but dropped as the day progressed, vis was 10 times better than the 1ft expected.Thanks to all the Gun divers for not turning up, its been along time since my last 100%! Notable fish where Trent's 2305 Snook and Nick's 3145 Lobby.

No there was a crap turn out because most of the top divers were working, away or sick.

Plus a lot of the softer guys were turned away by comments on the forum. Everyone I spoke to had a great time with 6m viz and fun competition. Same thing happenend last year at Pyramid Rock when people didn't turn up due to the forecast and we had fantastic conditions.
