It was a great dive! Lots of snook and other fish too. Visibility not bad. Bigger swell than expected but still ok.

Had a great day even with gear breakage and selection of wrong mask for the day (mirrored lenses) will be diving aireys more often now bloody fantastic.

It is a fantastic spot & I've got some lovely fish and Crays there, I grew up diving there and anglesea, have to agree with what Brett said though, its a very unreliable dive spot conditions wise. The best parts are now in the MP zone (I think anyway), leave the guns behind and check it out someday..

Lucky for us tvolke, the MP zone is the shit part! IMO, best dive in Vic when conditions are good. Can run into anything out there.

P.S. Anyone get molested by a seven gill?

Could not make it as it was my daughters 18th . (70 Pissed guests). Thanks to Luke and Ivor for coming up to help with security on the gate. Had a great feed of Kingfish , blue mowey and trump cooked at the gate.

Why is salt water so far away and the weather so crappy at this time of the year ?

Back in the old days the thing to do was dive the left for 4 and a bit hours then if you didn't have a black wrasse which used to be scarce as out the left you'd run up to the right. Luderick used to hang out up the right side a bit as well which would be a bit of a bonus.
