It's "Sea Fishes of Southern Australia", by Barry Hutchins & Roger Swainston.
Got myself a copy for Christmas; already own a number of fish-id books from when I was a kid using a rod & line, but this book is light-years better than any of them. That may be why it's recommended by Fisheries (and I'm not aware of any other books that can claim that).
Two thumbs up - and check out the non-fish id parts of it too; lots of good practical info on safety, where the spines/spurs/bitey/dangerous bits on different species are, how to treat any stings/wounds sustained while capturing fish, etc, etc.
You can pick it up at Dymocks for ~$30, and any fishing shop worth it's salt ought to have a copy or two in stock.
Cheers.
