Naw Dave that's soo cute!

Trust me! Your better off getting a singel each!
Doubles are massive heavy space wasters!
Anaconda had them new for around $150!

Hey Dave,

Iv got a double swag that Im willing to part with... Its been used once but has been sitting in the garage for around a year. Its a bit rough but just needs a bit of a clean. The only thing wrong with it is that it has a hole in the fly screen, easily repairable. Its a high quality swag tho, payed quite a bit for it. Its in storage atm so if your interested i can take a few pictures for you and get some more info on it? I would be willing to sell for around $150 ono. Let me know :)

Cheers,
Michael

Nah boys sorry don't flow that way ! Nah I must have made wtb post wrong, I've been speaking to some people and they reckon to Go king single. Do you think a king single will give me room to move around it I've never been in a swag nor had one so I have no idea. I want it for rice and duck shooting for over night camps. Michael i still might be interested tho when you get a chance can you take some Pics and send them 0406538505 ? Cheers guys

I have a single and find it fine apart from when u are blind drunk trying to get right down in to it, mates have a king single and swear by them if i had my time again would buy a king. If u r over six ft you would have too. See u too are from melton, ther used to be a canvas shop that made them in the industrial estate that were supose to be really good.

I got a Burke and Wills single, I'm 6'2 and fit in it just fine. I got the one that has the full fly that goes all the way from top to bottom so in summer i don't get hot. (I get hot easy). I wouldn't waste my time with a double or larger its really only to be used for 1 or 2 nights otherwise why not just set up a tent which packs up smaller and takes 2 seconds to set up anyways...

You often still need to use some sort of external supports for a swag. Lines that need to be pegged or tied to something, a swag should be as small as is comfortable with room to move to keep a good temperature.

King single = 1m x 2m same as a standard single bed. I would suggest getting an extra wide sleeping bag if you're worried about movement. I have a 1m wide "swagbag" for mine.

Also, you do not need to tie your swag to anything, no idea what ash is talking about. The supports they supply with them are not necessary. Most people I camp with do not even put the head part up and just sleep with it on them flat.

The lines I'm talking about are to keep the frame parts upright, they don't matter if you just leave it flat.
