I got my Gopro the other week, just trying to build up the accessories for the camera. Just wondering what program you guys use to view the videos on? When I play mine they don't seam to play smoothly on all the viewing programs (QuickTime, iTunes and windows media player just plays sound), once I upload the video it works fine so its not the frames of the video. Also how much did the mako mount cost you all up? I hear that they sting you with the postage.
Any help would be much appreacheated .
Stephen.

G'day Stephen, how old is your comp? Those programs suck, use VLC media player & if your still having problems playing back HD footage try Haali media splitter. Tinman is going to be making more of his custom brackets, keep on eye on it here http://www.spearboard.com/showthread.php?p=1525611#post1525611 they cost less, but you still might be waiting a month..

Finally arrived today. Quite happy with it even though it could have been a bit cheaper. Steveo it cost $91 at the time its $94 US in total that is including the go pro tripod mount.
When mounting it on the gun the clamp pushes my line wrap down off the gun and tightens it a bit, will this cause any dramas? I included a picture of it and some other pictures of how the mount looks.

Thanks heaps for all your help guys. I think I will down load the vlc media player. I might wait the few weeks to see how the production of the other mount turns out as the mako looks like a quality mount with good design but $94 is a bit steep.
Stephen.

Have you seen in the booklet bit how you can set it to turn onto a specified setting. I have mine to come onto the camera so if your ever in doubt you can just turn it off and back on and it will be in camera. Its a bit hard will all those settings and how they are all abbreviated when scrolling through.
