HI all,
I'm new to the forum, and sport.

Looking for some cheap gear to get started.

Gun, wetsuit, fins, belt, mask, float etc....... and anything else I might need.

Im about 176cm, 78 kg's. Guy in the shop reckons thats around a size 54...?

Size 11US or 10 UK for shoes. Not sure what that converts to in fins.

I can be contacted on 0412 382 032

Cheers

OK guys, nows the chance to offload all that shit gear that's never going to be used again to a noob
Just joking, I don't have anything for sale myself but you should be able to get a few odds and ends here. When you find stuff elsewhere let us no and there is enough decent folk here to let you know whether it's any good or not.

Thanks guys. The fins sound good.

Where are you based?

What size shoe do you wear? I haven't been sized for fins.

I'm a US 11 UK10. Do you think they will fit me?

Also was looking at this Second hand wetsuit. Maddog 3.2mm for about $100.
Anyone think it would be any good? Link below..

It's not a spearos suit. You want longjohns and a jacket with a built in hood. loading pads for a speargun are pretty good as well.

Fins are about an 8-9. Might be a tad tight, if you have no booties and a narrow foot.
Let me know what you think.
Cheers

No go on the wetsuit then......

I'm going to buy the gun and float tomorrow from this shop, so I'll try on some fins and see if yours will be any good.

Ok, so I got a bunch of stuff from Legendary today, but I still need some flippers, size 44 -46

And a wetsuit, about a 54.....

was thinking about this one, but the guy hasn't replied

Or this one, and buy the bottoms at a later time....

I feel the cold so personally I would recommend bottoms to but I think it would get you through summer... you dont have an old second hand surfing wetsuit like a 4/3 or 3/2 or can get one of a friend, thats what i started out in.. Fine for summer

Just be aware of what a Smooth-skin wetsuit is. I believe they damage easy so no good for shoving your arms into sharp ledges for crays etc...

At the same time it is a good price and i have brought from MKA twice now, good bloke.

It is reall good actually, went to the beach for a swim and didn't feel the cold at all, was warm actually.

Just a bit hard to get on and off......

And I didn't realsied how buoyant it was going to make me.....I need a weight belt bad!
