 Post subject: wanted wetsuit cheap

wanted to get a wetsuit for a family member for a previous birthday, its for a girl

price range $50 to $80-not rich hence the price range
size small to medium i'm guessing

maybe just a 5mm top or
3mm one piece

can you help me out clare or anyone else

try ebay lots of cheap ones for surfing will work just not as well as one for spear fishing

Hell, there's been enough fights on this forum between open vs closed cell neoprene, let alone throwing surfing steamers into the mix..... (also... for all you haters out there, im currently looking into getting myself a two piece open cell... ya jerks).

dosent matter all wetsuits are made to keep you warm but when on a budfet you cant all ways have a good closed cell.

For a start surf wetties have no hood so your cold head will end your dive real early, there's many more reasons but I can't be stuffed.

No ones here trying to sell gear, it's just experienced advice given from blokes who've made all the mistakes years before you were probably even born.

Going slightly off topic here :)

Diving in a surfing wetsuit is a good way to ruin it. You go from having a nice surfing suit you use for surfing and diving to not having a suit at all.
