The Sorrento Boat comp will be on this Sunday. Meet at the Sorrento boat at 7.30 for a 9.00 start. Earlier than 7.30 if you have a bit of stuff to organise, boats to launch etc. Usual format where start is at the ramp and finish will be at 3.00 also at the ramp.
As per the rules please bring your Entry form filled out . and fee of $10.
If you dont have a boat ride then dont be too concerned as there are usually a few places available on the day. If not then a shore dive is OK. Even Bushranger bay and the Schank are easily do-able. Finish / Sign off will still be at the ramp at 3.00. ( If you have a ride please compensate the owner for the days costs)

Please make sure all boats have the correct safety gear for the area you are going to.
Boats require a dive flag as per our rules.
Divers still require the usual safety gear. (It will be checked. )

The club trailer wont get there ( Unless someone offers to pick it up ).
There are a couple of BBQ's on the hill if people want some snags and bread after. (these will be purchased on the day if required. ) Please bring your own drinks. None will be provided ( Sorry).

Just curiosity.... not meant to offend or criticise.

What does the $10 entry go to if there is no BBQ/drinks socialness afterwards?

Dont forget if you have not yet paid your membership to get the forms filled out and bring them along with the correct funds on Sunday.

Just when I thought I had everthing organised... I checked the expiry of my flares and they expired Oct 2012, I also need a new battery for my boat torch, off shopping I go!!

Also, I have a small quantity of high quality reflective tape for dive floats should anyone need some. If anyone needs a mirror for their float they could always cable tie an old CD to their float.

Any new comers and regulars please try to have a read of the club rules tonight, there are a few new changes such as banned areas that need to be adhered to.

I am looking forward to seeing a good turn out tomorrow!!

See you there!
