Its not always easy to hitch a ride as people have their own plans. There will be plenty shore diving and Its worth coming to next weeks meeting and asking anyway. Meeting will be at Dandenong Hotel on Wed night.

Even if it is on, as I don't have access to a boat is there any point in attending? I'm thinking a boat would be a massive advantage and I would be diving alone anyway by the sounds of it which probably isn't the safest. What have others done in the past?

Sorrento Boat Comp is ON this Sunday
Comp will start at 9.00 so be there early with your entry form filled out and the correct money. ($10 each diver). Entries will close at 8.40. (so that organisers are able to get themselves organised).
Diver/boaty briefing at 8.50.
Comp is convened by Andrew and Watto

I remind you all of the safety requirements set out in our rules and dont forget those dive flags for boats(750mm x 600mm )and divers.

There may be space on boats on the day. There will be plenty of shore divers as well. Let the organisers know early on the day and they may be able to help find a ride.

Having a boat isn't necessarily an advantage.
