Hey guys

I use my go pro on most dives, but the quality isn't great. I know i can change the settings but that reduces over all film time by heaps..

I came across a youtube video and a bloke said he started using a "flat lens" and it was a lot clearer.

Is the flat lens better for visibility wise when viewing post dive?

Cheers

There are two types of housings flat and curved. Flat works better underwater and curved is for land use. Reason i purchased my intova sport was price and flat housing already installed.

The Hero 3's come with flat lens housings by default. Hero 2's you'll need to buy a separate one. You can get the official GoPro ones for like... 60 bucks I think?

For my Hero2 I bought an Eye Of Mine flat lens housing for like $120 - but that was before gopro had released their flat lens housing. By all accounts the gopro one is better than any of the third party housings.
