Hi all, I want to get into free diving/spear fishing and i'm looking for gear new or used in suitable condition.

I'm after some entry level fins, a 3.5mm wetty that has not been pissed in,silicon and glass mask and a snorkel.

I am six foot and one inches tall or 186cm and weigh 92kg. I have size approx size 12 to 12.5 feet.

Getting a second hand wetsuit that hasnt been pissed in that fits you might be a tough ask. In fact finding a set of gear that will fit your body, face, hand and foot size properly is an even bigger ask.
Buy individually otherwise save your pennies and go new and go in and see the boys at Legendary or ring Brett Esclapez Australia.

Not saying you cant shoot fish with second hand gear. But the time you will save + headaches by going new + warranty = peace of mind that you can rely on your equipment to perform.

Good luck with whichever way you choose

Geoff

Got some fins for you, Picasso 46-48 foot pocket. Have a grey plastic fin blade. Brand new, never been in water. $80
Have an old Anchor wetsuit which you can have, should fit. Location Geelong, could bring to next meeting although it's in Feb.

Haha fair enough regarding the urine free wetsuit and the rest. I certainly have alot to learn but have done what research i can on the net so i can make the best choices possible when selecting gear. i know it's slim chance getting second hand gear that fits well and functions appropriately but i figure i might as well see what's available and go from there.

thanks for your input blue groper, it's much appreciated.

Excellent, do you know if the fins suit a wide foot shape blacky? my foot is 112.5mm wide at the widest point which is is about 5cm back from the tip of my big toe.
