Gday lads

Apologies for getting this up an hour before the meeting.

This season has seen the most entries since the VC first ran over a decade ago. As has been the way in past years, some amazing target species for Victorian spearfishers have been submitted. Nice Kings, Christian's KGW, Clint's snapper, Trent's cray, Rob's sweep... the list goes on. Great to see quality consistently coming in.

Entries have slowed down with only 1 month to go.

cheers

See attached the Final Victorian Challenge leaderboard for the 2013/2014 season.

This season saw plenty of firsts for the Vic Challenge, some being -

* It was the first time the competition has been open to all AUF members within Victoria
* The first time we've seen over 20 people compete in the VC (23 in total, including jnrs & women)
* It was the first time someone has entered 3 different species to only score a grand total of 1 point! (sorry Andrew)
* Its by far the lowest score in recent years to win (61)

Many quality fish were submitted. It has once again showcased the best of what Victorian spearfishing has to offer.

The Vic Challenge was created with the intention of allowing the average Joe a chance. Tuna were off because you need big boats and big money.
