We have a convenor who has many years experience assessing dive conditions. He makes his assessment of conditions based on whatever he chooses. He has the responsibility of keeping it safe. Its a thankless task.
In the clubs opinion his decision will not be questioned.

Those that dont dive club stuff are welcome to dive wherever and whenever they want. (Remember 2 deaths a month ago . Club canned a comp the same day)
You only are responsible to yourselves.

Greg we don't dive comps at 5:30pm! Swell did drop off during the afternoon but that's no good to use if our comps start at 9. It was a marginal day at best and anyone with half a cracker could see that!

Hey Guys,

Is there any chance that one of the comps will be run this weekend? Want to make sure before making plans for the long weekend.

:)

The plan is for the comp to be run this weekend. It was announced at the club meeting.
However, still subject to conditions.
I'm guessing there will be a call made tonight....

Hi All,

I will be going down on sunday morning and have a few spots in my car.
If someone needs a ride, let me know.

I am in reservoir and can pick people up if they are not too far out of the way.
Im planning to be there by 8am, so will need to be on the road by 6am.

-Stoj
