My PC has decided it does not like my e mails. I have been using Windows live for a couple of years with no problems. Since the 13th April it has decided it wont send or receive e mails. I have also set up Outlook on my pc and still no go. I can access my e mails by going to the Telstra site but its very slow and cumbersome. I have had a Telstra tec go through my set up and still no go. I set up Live and outlook on my wifes PC and it all works OK. There is obviously something in my PC stopping it. Is it possible that there is a dodgy e mail that has stuffed it up ? Should I just delete all e mails and start again ? there is stuff that I would rather not loose. Suggestions please.

I had trouble recently with Telstra not being able to connect with my web hosting company/service. My email was down for a week about the same time and has been playing up occasionally since. Telstra issue.
May not be the same problem, just a thought.

Stoj has pointed me in the direction of Avast blocking it. I have Googled it and it has been a problem with Avast. I have changed some settings and it now works with an extra step that I can live with. Thanks Stoj.
