Watto is still out in front but there are a couple of lads not far behind ready to make their run.

Will be very interesting to see how it plays out over the great spearfishing months of March & April ahead of us.

Only 3 more days left in this seasons VC. Entries close midnight this Tuesday the 2/6/15.

An ex champ has made a late charge! At this stage there is only a few points in it. The winner will be announced at the SFD preso night.

This seasons VC has now closed. What a cracking finish!!! Winner will be announced on preso night. I will say - it has ended up the closest VC between 1st & 2nd ever.

15 people competed this season. General numbers of fish entered were a little down, but as always, some amazing Victorian species were submitted. Sweep over 1kg, Snook over 4kg, couple of crays around the 5kg mark, quality kingfish, 1.885kg trevally, nice squid etc. But IMO, Danny Heaver's 995g KGW trumps them all!! 5g off the magical 1kg mark. Sensational fish.

I will bring hard copies of the final 2014/2015 VC leaderboard to preso night. Look forward to having a quiet drink with you all there.

Well done Blacky for backing up eden and taking out Leigh in another comp, come to think of it I got the double as well
