I bought a plastic mirror from super cheap auto - it was designed to stick on the window or something. I tore off the suction cup and attached to my float with line. It cost about $5

I have heaps of reflective tape I am happy to bring some peices to the comp - It comes in huge rolls - I got mine at Bunnings after much searching at shops

I will have reflective tape in my car on the day of the comp. and yes CDs make a great mirrors for comps

This weekends competition will NOT be running due to the weather not being in our favour, we will pray all week to the weather gods and hope for good seas next Sunday the 22nd.

South easterly wind combined with 1.2 > 1.5m swell even counts the Schank out. Looks like we missed out by a couple of days as Tuesday looks good. With any luck Sunday 22nd will be better.

RESCHEDULED DATE: POTENTIALLY THE WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER 28TH 2015 "IF" CONDITIONS ARE SAFE.

Apologies all, due to very marginal weather conditions for the nominated dive location (Peninsula), this comp has been cancelled. The club will endeavour to reschedule this comp at a later date in 2016.

Change it to a mid week comp, then the weather on the week end will probably come good instead....such are the fickle ways of the weather gods !!
