Welcome back ladies and gents to the 2015-16 Vic Challenge. Conditions have been pretty average so far this season, but the odd weather window has popped up for those keen enough to have a go. The only entry for August is Stoj with a cracker back beach cray of 3.17 kg. Not a bad way to open your account Stoj. Hopefully we see a few more worthy fish come in over September.

Welcome to sunny October. The waters are (slowly) warming and fish are starting to come in. Hilly snuck in before the cray closure and grabbed the ten point cray spot off Stoj, we'll see how long he can hold onto it once it reopens.

This months update sees a few good squid over the 2kg mark come in, but Muzzas 2.44 kg model taking the top spot. Still plenty of easy points swimming around out there, go get them.

Even more quality entries this month, the season is well underway and big green fish can't be too far off being landed. Hilly may have won the squid race crossing the magic 3 kg mark (and adding a solid snook), but fish of the month goes to Pete T opening the snapper section with a cracking 1.825 kg model.

The scores are starting to pile up now, fish of the month has to be Fitzys 955 g whiting, going to be tough to beat.

Will not have club scales at next club meeting Tues Mar 1st will be in NZ and don't ask Watto to bring his either.
If you still keen to weigh fish at club meeting. I'm sure if you ask Brett very nicely or barter he may be able to accommodate
=scales for booze or esclapez purchase. But please let him know well in advance.

Or other option if you even more desperate get a pic of your fush on calibrated scales eg butcher, fish monger. Photo showing clearly what type of fish is (not a bag with a fish in it) and it's weight.

If the info is wrong above please advise Kiwi/Committee

Geoff

Watto has passed club scales to Nghia so we should have scales at the Meeting.
Check with Nigs on this forum

Should probably add both Joel's scores together?

You highly educated school kids can't see he is listed twice and had a sweep and cray as the second Joel Pasin.
