Hi All,
The final results have been tallied for last seasons Vic Challenge (2019-2020) and the winner was announced at last nights Southern Freedivers presentation night.
It was a close finish with only 3 points between the 1st and 2nd place getters, both submitting fish in the last few days of the challenge.
The runner up is Nathan Watson and he wins the $75 prize. Watto has won the Vic challenge multiple times in prior years and is great to see he is still enjoying this great competition.
The winner is Kim Adair making him the winner for the 2nd year in a row. Kim wins the $150 prize.
Brendon Waller won the $125 prize for the most meritorious fish for submitting his 3.37kg Southern Bluespot Flathead.
Thanks again to Murray Petersen from Abstraction Pty Ltd for donating the cash prizes and his support of the Vic Challenge over many years.
There was also a random prize draw for each person that entered 1 or more fish into the Vic Challenge over the season (each diver getting 1 entry to this raffle). The winner for this was Brendon Waller, winning a voucher for a DivePro 5mm Yamamoto 39 wetsuit. Thankyou to Steven Xu from DivePro / MrDrive for supporting the club with this and many other prizes.
See below for the final tally.
