Just a reminder that the Western Districts comp is scheduled for this weekend. I don't know what the current outlook is especially considering some of the flooding going on down that way. Murray will speak to some guys down there and hopefully be able to make an early call either way, so stay tuned..

Hey Brown Mullet. There are some locals that will meet at the traditional spot out the front of Southcombe Caravan Park. I know for a fact they don't read this forum, so to prevent confusion I think it would be best to stick with this traditional meeting spot. Also just checking, 7am or 8am? usually 8am with 9am comp start. If you go with 7am we will have to let the western districts boys know.

yes its a 2 day comp jaws. Doesnt worry me where we meet, last year i thought we meet at that car park.I remember getting the speeding fine trying to get there on time  if thats the norm then we can meet there. As for the start time, we have talked about starting comps at 8. And there will be a few day trippers from what iv heard so im sure they would like to get away an hour earlier. Only have to let pete know the time, sure he speaks to all the boys.

I just spoke to the Brown Mullet and we have agreed to stick to tradition for the first day (Saturday) . Meet at 8am a the Southcombe Park for a 9am start. This is to ensure there is no confusion with the locals.

Reports from Peter Riddle is that conditions have been sensational, warm clean water full of fish with Kings everywhere! Easterlies are springing up for Sat, Sun but still very dive-able. Mon, Tue are going to be back to the best so if you can stay on, do it.
