Hey guys, a few vids from my recent trip to Sri Lanka and the maldives. All on a gopro hero 3 black. Diving is mainly scuba but some freediving, a few spearable tropical species in there too. Enjoy and feedback please!

Hey j.bizzle,

Looks like you guys had fun. Enjoyed the vids. The blue striped snapper looked awesome as they just stand out on the Maldives vid. And as always the Blue Ringed Angelfish look brilliant on the 2nd vid from Sri Lanka reminded me of one i had in my marine tank. The reef banner fish looked good as well as the turtles.
Nice vids.

Geoff

Forgot to mention that in the Sri Lanka vid i saw my first ever Pompano. Saw it circling and thought Permit straight away. Never heard of Pompano before but its from the same genus.

Thanks mate, glad you liked them. Good to see someone focusing on the species in the clips too!

Hey J.bizzle i forgot to mention but is that a Mantis shrimp at 4:06 on the maldives dive vid?

I had one in my reef tank setup i saw it a couple of times in 2yrs. But heard it clicking the glass every night when the lights went out. Didnt kill too many fish just your small stuff chromis and humbugs. But got rid of crabs that usually come with your live rock. Didnt buy it it was a stowaway which also came with the liverock.
