Post subject:  2014 Victorian State Titles – Cape Conran
7th SFD comp for the 2013/14 season and the 2014 Victorian State Titles – Cape Conran – 8, 9 and 10th March 2014. Great competition/s and camping event, attracting competitors from all over the state as well as interstate. All AUF members welcome. Once again keep an eye on the 'Competitions' thread on the forum for the time, location or any changes from the ‘Competition Committee’.

This will be a TWO day comp with TWO ZONES that will be separated with two buoys as per the attached image.

Awesome camping at BANKSIA BLUFF or there is plenty of accommodation around the immediate area surrounding MARLO.

We will be running a safety boat on both days.

ALSO, I heard a whisper of a something very special in the area last week....

This event will also be part of the selection process for next years state team for the nationals that will be held on the west coast of Vic.
I think that day 1 also counts for our club aggregate. ( correct me if I am wrong).

Does that mean the Saturday will be used for the club aggregate? Or will the decision be made later on as to which day counts?

will the call for on/off and location be made on Thursday 7th evening? also is the presentation part of the event weekend now (i.e. people need to bring perpetual trophies) or at the SFD pres night still?

No presso after the comp, that will happen at the presso night in June. Hopefully we can make the call Wednesday night to give people a bit more time,Thursday 5pm at the latest.

Saturday at Conran will be shit and therefore not an option. Sunday offers a little (very little) hope. Monday looks OK. Final decision will be made tomorrow (Friday) 5:00 pm. So....stop harassing Murray.

Most important.......have your entry forms downloaded and filled in prior to sign on...I will NOT be bringing any. This process has been in place for a year now. NO excuses. .......and bring the correct cash!!!

I sincerely hope that no one from the comp committee or any one who may have influenced the comp committee is not found to be in the water Saturday scouting/fish feeding/marking. That could be interpreted as cheating.

Anyone in the water on Saturday will probably be fighting for their life in very uncomfortable conditions.
Who has influenced the comp committee?
