We have completed 3 competitions and postponed 1.
There have been good turnouts to the comps so far and the leader board so far doesn't represent the typical order you would expect with a B grader leading.

See attached for the Southern Freedivers 2016-2017 Aggregate so far.


The aggregate is calculated based on your top 6 out of 8 scores, so even if you have missed a few comps, there is still time to start attending the comps and moving up the leader board.

I look forward to seeing you at the next comp, Western Districts, that is hosted by the Shipwrecked Coast Skin Divers Club.

I know I was disqualified last comp due to 9 min late back to the ramp. However, I was told by Brett and others that I will still be ranked in the comp to see where I fit if I were to qualify. Can you please amend it and repost it.

Sorry for the hassle but I really look forward to where I sit.

With the Western Districts competition completed, we are half way towards the Southern Freedivers aggregate.

With Fitzy not able to attend the last comp, 5 A-graders are on his heels with only 11 points difference between the top 6 A-grade divers. They are all 90 points or more behind Geoff in B Grade.

It’s good to see that we have a few juniors posting scores and Carly representing the ladies, especially after beating Geoff and a lot of the guys at the last comp.

With 5 comps completed, we are getting down to the business end of the competition season.

The top 4 A-grade divers are hot on Geoff's heels for the top spot.
100 point difference in the top 2 spots in B grade will make it tough to catch up.

A bit of movement in the C grade standing, where Scott Kelly has overtaken Pete Thompson for the top spot in C grade and is still very close.
Carly is still performing really well in the Ladies category and it's really good to see the Junior divers holding their own with some of the senior divers.

We have 1 planned comp and 2 comps to catch up on till the end of the competition season.

Hi All,

6 club competitions have been completed and there have been a few changes in the standings.

With a big win in the Newhaven Boat Comp, Murray has surged ahead in the A grade standings to be 83 points ahead of the pack.
He has also taken the top spot from Geoff!

With less than 17 points difference, Scott Kelly, Pete Thompson and Jeff Feng will need to make the remaining comps count to take out the top spot in C grade.
Jervis is not only leading the Juniors, but is also outscoring a lot of the senior divers!

With Geoff Gannon and myself being the only divers to post scores in all 6 comps, we can now work on upgrading on our lowest scoring comps.

With 7 aggregate comps completed, we're down to the business end of the competition season.

Geoff has taken back the top spot from Murray and has extended his lead in B grade.
The last comp will be vital in determining the club champion between them.

Scott Kelly has taken a commanding lead in the C grade category jumping to 5th on the leader board.

With 4 weeks (really 3 due to mothers day) to run the remaining comp, we hope the conditions are good in the coming weeks for the Peninsula comp.
