I like the rail as it helps to guide the shaft into the mech, only one of my guns has it though and I never notice the difference until someone asks the question!

Accuracy is the same so don't let that be the deciding factor!

The rail theoretically allows you to put more power on the shaft before you experience shaft whip. A lot of the guys in the US are now doing enclosed tracks too. Personally, I don't see much use for either around the reefs. It's a whole different story if you're doing blue water though. Check out http://www.spearboard.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12 for the best forum I've found about guns. A lot of homebuild advice there too.

Regards,
Al

Have a feel of the Picasso Spider at Legendary, they're a sweet gun. A 1m Spider would be great for VIC, and there's ways around loading difficulties if you're small. I was going to try and get a Spider off Adreno for $199 for a mate, but he bailed, good deal but.

Yeah, I couldn't get through to them for over an hour. Ended up getting an 80cm rabitech hunter instead along with a couple of other odds and ends. If they sold out in only 8 minutes, they mustn't have had too many in stock (unless they were accepting pre-orders).

No pre orders tried that as soon as I got there brochure did get a pair of C4's earlier because they where already offering at that price but wouldn't budge on guns even though I had fins on delivery hold in case I was able to secure a gun on the day. Apparently they had 11 or 12 spiders in stock.
