2nd SFD comp for the 2014/15 season – PHILLIP ISLAND - Sunday 12th October 2014 08:00 am.

Exact location and day TO BE ANNOUNCED; usually somewhere within the Pyramid Rock to Kitty Miller Bay area.

All club competitions are nominated for Sunday however the Saturday may be used due to favoured weather conditions. The dive convenor will post the decision on the Thursday prior under this thread.

This is a shore based comp. All comps are shore dives unless specified otherwise.

Competitors must bring with them their COMPLETED Competition Entry Form and CORRECT money Seniors $15 - Juniors $5 (Will be sponsored by senior divers). Entry forms and rules can be found here; viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4045

There will be a FREE BBQ after the event at the weigh in at the park gazebo in Newhaven.

Once again keep an eye on this thread for the time, location or any changes from the dive convenor 'the brown mullet'.

Going to call the comp ON for SATURDAY. Location will most likely be Pyramid Rock. We will meet at the Phillip Is information center at 7:45 on the dot, we will be gone by 7:55 so be on time. Condition are looking OK. Swell 3ft with light SW wind. Fingers crossed for some viz.

Anyone contemplating camping Friday night ?

Hey guys,
I'm looking for a dive partner for tommorow. Im relatively new and would like to take it easy at the start. .
Also after a float line/speed needle to borrow as i forgot to pickup from the post today

Weather turned out better than expected, the West side was pretty choppy with some swell, but the East was pretty flat & vis was great in most places.

wish I was there. I am yet to dive that spot. Well done to all. I'm curious to know if it was it tougher/easier conditions than the previous Cape Schanck comp?
