No arguments - what arguments?
Is the first heat of the Western Districts still a SFD comp day as well?

SCS will post details of this comp in the Victorian Spearfishing Commission thread. They will be organising this event. The 1st day will still be counted in the SFD club series aggregate.

Yep. Last year day 2 was picked due to
1) better conditions and
2) the fact that more SFD members could get down there for 2nd day

I'm in the same vote this year day 2 (Sunday) is the only day that I'm available due to cricket. Which most likely counts out Carly as well.

2014 Western Districts Spearfishing Titles
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2014

The Western Districts Spearfishing Championships will be held on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th November 2014. (Change of dates due to National Titles clash in January)
The competition is proudly hosted by the Shipwreck Coast Skindivers (SCS). The meeting for this competition will be the same as previous years with a 0800 hours meet both days at Southcombe Caravan Park, Port Fairy.
The exact location to be advised on the day; generally somewhere within the Port Fairy area.
NOTE: Usual sites like Griffith Island and Killarney will not be fished as they are venues for the National Titles in January. Access may be done through farmers properties and the convenor has advised that car-pooling should be done on the day and that there will be limited access with no “coming and going” throughout the day.
Western Districts is scheduled as a 2 day land based event, however it is still weather dependent and may be postponed should there be bad weather forecasted. The dive convenor will post the decision on the Thursday prior on the Shipwreck Coast FB page. PLEASE do not ring beforehand as a decision will not be made till the Thursday evening.
All Australian Underwater Federation members are welcome (Please join AUF, SFD or SCS BEFORE the comp... NOT on the day).
It is advised that EVERYONE read the SFD competition RULES prior to competing. These are the rules that the Western Districts will be held under. http://southernfreedivers.org.au/forums ... f=9&t=4045
Competitors should bring with them their COMPLETED Competition Entry Form and CORRECT money. Seniors $30 - Juniors $10 Entry forms and rules can be found here; http://southernfreedivers.org.au/forums ... f=9&t=4045
NOTE: There is no single day sign on, these fees are if you dive one day or two.
There will be a FREE BBQ after the event at the weigh in or at a separate location TBA.
The Western Districts competition has annual perpetual trophies for the Open, Junior and Ladies Champion.
Keep an eye on the thread on the Shipwreck Coast Skindivers Facebook page or the Southern Freedivers club forum for any changes from the dive convenor.
Several interstate divers plan to attend and the committee of the Shipwreck Coast are hoping for a good turnout.

To the best of my knowledge. We usually have the SFD day the first day of the comp. Last year was really the exception. I know there are a couple that will make it for Saturday. I wont be there either day .
